In high school, and maybe in a college class, you were assigned to do a food diary or a food journal.
Well, we will not grade your dietary choices, but a snapshot of your daily and weekly nutrition choices will shine a bright light upon the number of calories that you consume. Social media can be included in this experiment, by posting your meal choices on your Facebook page, on Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, etc.
Also choose to observe your diet periodically. Select a week in February, a week in March, a week in April, and a week in May. In each week, pick 1-3 days when you will make a list of EVERYTHING that you eat and drink. The meal choices that are made on a weekday may be different than the meal choices that are made on a weekend, so make sure to compare your weekend choices against your weekday selections.
